What is a loaded envelope?
It is an envelope that is handmade and decorated pretty. It is loaded with tags, wands, a card, handmade embellishments or store bought embellishments, and etc.
For a non-crafter, you can load it with tags, a card, a gift card, a pair of earrings or a bracelet.
How to make a loaded envelope?
There are several videos on YouTube. Just do a search "loaded envelope tutorial".
There are lots of versions. You can use a 6x9 envelope and cover with scrapbook paper and then add pockets.
You also can make an envelope with one 12x12 piece of scrapbook paper.
I have had my loaded envelope published in a magazine. Here is a 4 step quick way of making it.
I have a Pinterest board with lots of beautiful examples:

Here are a couple examples of ones I have done in the past. This is what it looks like before I load them with goodies.

Whohoooo. I am a winner.
Swappers Corner turned 5. The had several challenges and a scavenger hunt over the weekend to celebrate their birthday.
I won the memorydex cards challenge. We had to use pink ribbon and a blue balloon.

My tips to anyone whose just starting out.
My tips would to anyone just starting out.
Tips:
*Catch sales and use coupons. Build your stash with bargains.
*Follow the major craft manufacturers on Facebook and Instagram to get inspiration from their design team.
*Follow sketch sites/blogs and etc to get ideas on constructing your designs
*Try different adhesives to see which one you like best. Just don't use glue sticks. Your design will not look good a year from creating it.
*Just relax and have fun.
*Go to craft crops, events, expos, and conventions. You get to see demos, take classes, do make and takes, and learn from other crafters.
*Organize your craft supplies by theme. Make your life easy.
