The New Crafter's Bible

The Ultimate Crafting Bible for all the new crafters that have joined my passion.

My most essential tips to help you out:

1.  Never use glue sticks.  Your creation will warp or come apart after about 1 year.

2.  Make a craft budget for $50 or $100 a month.  Catch sales and use coupons.  You can get alot of crafty goodies by catching sales.  Make sure you are on the email list of all the craft stores in your area or just check their web page every Sunday to see what is on sale.

3.  Go to scrapbook crops or scrapbook retreats.

You can get ideas and inspiration from others.

You can try out tools you may not already have.  They always have a tool station.

They often have a giveaway table.

4.  Get ideas from some online galleries at Scrapbook.com and Acherryontop.com.  There is alot of talent all over the world.

5.   Follow the major craft companies on Facebook and Instagram.   They have design teams that can give you ideas on using their products.  They also have giveaways where you can win products as well.

Here are some recommendations:  BoBunny, Bella Blvd, Simple Stories, Echo Park Paper, Photo Play Paper, Prima Marketing, American Crafts, My Minds Eye, Creative Embellishments, Carta Bella Paper, Graphic 45, DCWV, Little Birdie Crafts, Heartfelt Creations,  Crafters Companion, Anna Griffin, Ciao Bella Paper, Momenta, and etc.

6.  Organize your crafty goodies by themes like Christmas, birthday's, anniversary,  school,  boy child, girl child, graduation, pets, at the park, playground, pool party, summer, spring, fall, winter, and etc.

7.  Make a dedicated space in your house or apartment as your craft area.  It could be a corner of a room, an entire room, part of the basement, and etc.  Or convert that dining room you never use into a craft room.

8.  The most important part is to have fun.

9.  Here is some helpful online resources:
