My layout "It's All About Family" with some ZVA Creative

I had a nice Sunday at home.  I didn't feel like going anywhere.  I slept late.  I created 1 layout.  Then I made breakfast.  While eating breakfast I watched a Denzel movie "Man on Fire".  I washed clothes.  I helped my son with his homework.  Then I made dinner.  And now I am just goofing off on Facebook and my blog. 

Here is the layout I made using My Minds Eye, ZVA Creative, and K and Company:

I had a nice day.  I got my beauty sleep.  My brother took Christian to go and play basketball and out to eat.  I bought some digital images for the 1st time.  I also went to Michael's to get some colored pencils to color my digital images that I was in clearance a couple of weeks ago.  My son loves drawing.  I bought him some artsy pencils that were on clearance.  When I got home I felt like doing a little scrappin.  There was a Let's Capture These Sketches sketch I wanted to do that inspired me.  Here it is:

 

I combined this sketch challenge with a scrapbook.com monochrome "black" challenge.  Here is what I came up with:

It is Friday.  Yay!!  After I picked up my son from aftercare, we went out to eat at Bob Evans.  When I got home I felt like doing some scrapbooking.  There were a couple of challenges that I want to do.......

Happy Mail From Birds of a Feather Kit Company

I got some happy mail today from Birds of a Feather Kit Company.  This is what the email said......


Hi Monique!

 

Thank you for your application. I would love to extend a Guest Designer position to you for the month of December, 2012! You will receive your kit by mid-November and at that time you will also have the opportunity to purchase kit-extras at a 20% discount.

 

If for some reason December is NOT a good month for you, please let me know asap! Otherwise I will go ahead and announce you as a December Guest Designer.

 

Historically I have had a very hard time selling December kits, (I am assuming because it's the holidays, etc.), so in order to get the extra exposure I feel it will need, two guest designers were chosen for that month. I hope you don't mind sharing :)

 

If you have any questions at all, just ask! And so excited to have you on board!

Aloft Hotel Crop 9-29-2012
