I went to a fun Scrappy Chix crop in Millersville, MD where I met some nice ladies.  I am glad that I went.  There were lots of smiles and laughs.  I even got six layouts done.  Four layouts I created of the top of my head and two I made based on sketches at Practical Scrappers and GrandDiva's Creative Corner:

The weekend has gone by toooooo fast.

I had a nice weekend. 

Saturday, I went to a fun fundraiser crop in Bowie hosted by Michele Herring at Mt. Oak Church.  I also went to Hobby Lobby in Laurel and Michael's in Bowie.  Then I went to the Regal Bowie to see "Baggage Claim".  It was a funny movie with some chocolate eye candy.  The plot was predictable though.  It was entertaining as a movie should be.

Sunday, I slept, watched TV, unpacked my stuff from the crop on Saturday, tidied up my scrap room, scanned my layouts from yesterday, and just goofed off.  It was a carefree day!  I only have 1 regret:  I overslept and missed church.  At least I did watch some tele-evangelists on cable.

Here are 5 of the 6 layouts that I created Saturday.  1 of them I need to add some finishing touches to it.

What a wonderful day today was in the DC/MD/VA area!!!

What a wonderful day today was in the DC/MD/VA area!!!  The federal government shutdown has ended.  I did an Imaginisce sketch challenge.  I met a cutie pie name Brandon.  I got pampered with a pedicure, eye wax and massage.  I went to Michaels to get some Hero Arts Stamps and left with more than I had intended:  4 Hero Arts stamps, 2 Hampton Arts stamps, 1 Craftsman stamp and 6 Studio G stamps.  Not to mention that I racked up on Recollections goodies that were/are 40% off.  Then I went to Hobby Lobby and got some Paper Studio goodies that were 50% off.

Furlough Day # 16

Furlough Day # 16 only produced 1 layout.  I scrapped my son's 5th grade pics.  I used yummy products from Imaginisce, EK Success, Jillibean Soup, MAMBI, Echo Park and Jenni Bowlin.  Well Here it is.  What do you think?

Furlough Days # 14 and 15

This week I have been keeping busy.  Monday 10/14/2013, I organized my pictures.  I have been printing them out and they were still in the CVS packages.  Tuesday 10/15/2013, I created 2 Imaginisce layouts using their Geek Is Chic Collection.  Wanna see?  Here ya go:
