Some Humor For Today: forwarded to me from 1 of my co-workers

NEW BOYFRIENDS!!!

I am seeing 5 gentlemen every day.
As soon as I wake up,
Will Power helps me get out of bed

Then I go to see John.

Then Charlie Horse comes along,
and when he is here, he takes a lot of my time my attention.

When he leaves,
Arthur Ritis
shows up and stays the rest of the day.
He doesn't like to stay in one place very long,
so he takes me from joint to joint.

After such a busy day, I'm really tired and glad
to go to bed with Ben Gay.
What a life! Oh, yes, I'm also flirting with Al Zymer
and thinking of calling Jack Daniels or
Johnny Walker to come and keep me company.

now remember:
Life is like a roll of toilet paper ...the closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes...so have fun, think good thoughts only, learn to laugh at yourself, and count your blessings!!!!!!!

We had a nice Sunday 1/24/2010.

We had a nice Sunday 1/24/2010.  We went to church, KFC, CVS, Payless, Dressbarn and then to the movies to see *The Tooth Fairy*.  It was an okay movie.  It isn't an award winner.  When it comes out on DVD, I won't buy it.  It wasn't a must see again.

I took some nice pics at the movies of Christian with the Chip Monks and the Tooth Fairy.

I applied for several *Design Teams* this Wednesday and Thursday.

I applied for several *Design Teams* this Wednesday and Thursday.  I prayed to you God that I get to make one of the teams.  Will somebody deem me worthy to be on their team?  I will see.  But regardless of the outcome Father God I trust that you will place in my life that which is good and wonderful.

But I trust in you, O Lord; I say, You are my God.  ~Psalm 31:14~

Happiness Layout and Happiness *Daily Word* Devotion

With God's love in my heart, I fully experience the happiness of life.

Happiness is a state of heart and mind. It is mine to choose. When I rise each morning, I think positively. I begin my day with a smile on my face and a song in my heart that says "Thank You, God, for another perfect day."

I spread happiness in my interactions with others. Through a simple smile and a cheerful outlook, I lift the spirits of family and friends. I look on the light side of life, realizing that goodness and love can be found every moment of every day.

My heart and mind are open to the inspiration of God as the source of my love and enthusiasm for life. I live the peace and happiness God created me to experience.

Happy are those who live in your house, ever singing your praise.--Psalm 84:4

No Worries! It's Friday! Yah! (Devotional c/o Daily Word 1/22/2010)

I am faith-filled, fearless and free!

Today I remember the truth of my being: I am a radiant child of God. Fear and worry have no power over me. Worry is simply the habit of focusing on what I do not want. So today, I envision Jesus standing beside me, reminding me to have faith.

Faith is the activity of seeing life with the vision of the Christ. Rather than worry, I say, "See this as Jesus does." From this higher perspective, worry is transformed into faith. I receive divinely inspired solutions and take right actions, knowing all my needs are met.

Through a daily practice of living by the example of Jesus, my Way Shower, I find my worries dissolve into nothingness. I am faith-filled, fearless and free!

Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink. ... Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?--Matthew 6:25

Choice (Devotional c/o Daily Word 1/21/2010)

I choose the spirit of God.

The power of choice enables me to co-create my life with God and with others. Through prayer, I choose to bring the peace and love of God into my everyday experiences. I also choose to be around people who are healthy for me while remaining aware of the spirit of God within all. I honor my own value and see it reflected in my choice of friends and associates, who also value themselves and make wise choices.

When I feel as though I have little or no choice in a given situation, I call on my inner wisdom to recognize the spirit of God at work. I open my mind to divine possibilities and release any judgment of myself or others. I choose wisely and give thanks for right outcomes that arrive in the right and perfect way at the right and perfect time.

You did not choose me but I chose you.--John 15:16

-Using Circles on Your Pages

By Style -- In each issue of Scrapbook News and Review Magazine, we feature scrapbook pages by style and skill level. Please send at least three to five layouts that you feel best represents your work as well as explain in a few brief sentence what style you feel best describes your work.

Faithbooking & Inspirational – New beginnings. Often, we approach the new year with reflections on the past and thoughts and dreams of the future. A wonderful way to express our love and hopes is through faithbooking or uplifting others with inspiring and encouraging words. For this call, we’re looking for projects that express or proclaim your faith as well as projects that inspire others to be their very best.

Lists on Your Pages – List makers unite! Lists are a great way to showcase ideas, quotes, values, and even replace our journaling. No matter what the subject or theme, we’re looking for pages that show a variety of ways to use lists in your scrapbooking.

Style Spotlight: Fun & Playful – Funny pages, funny subjects, funny journaling. Do you tend to make light of your topics? Does your style represent your kooky personality or silly spin on the world? If so, we’d love to see your Fun & Playful pages.

Toddlers & Tots – They’re adorable, delightful and full of surprises. They also make great subjects for some of the most amazing layouts around. We’re looking for projects featuring children under 5 in all their zany, affectionate, and mindblowing glory.

Using Circles on Your Pages – Circles of all sizes, colors, textures and patterns. As part of the background or the main focus, we’re looking for layouts that showcase circles and the nifty tricks you can employ while using them. If you do something a little out of the ordinary, please feel free to include a brief description of how you dressed up or made the circle(s) stand out.

Image Guidelines

Please send images as large as possible and we’ll scale to size. Any image smaller than 650x650 will not be considered for publication.

All images must be free of watermarks or any text unless it’s a part of the picture or project such as stamped or painted on.

You must name or label your image/picture with the title of the layout or the project AND your last name. No generic camera setting labels or your project will be disqualified. An example would be WinterWishesSmith.jpg.

Important Info: You must register on our site before sending in your submissions. This will ensure that we’re able to properly contact you as well as authorize you to view the magazine should your artwork be considered for publication.

Please note that due to the large volume of submissions we receive on a monthly basis, you will only be notified upon acceptance of artwork.

2009 Top Ten Moments

1.  The bling I received for winning the ZVA Creative Contest at Acherryontop.com. I love bling and it is 1 of the things I must have when I scrapbook.

2.  The snow blizzard of Dec. 2009. That was alot of snow!

3.  My trips to Sesame Place, Kings Dominion, Chesapeake Beach Waterpark, and Deep Creek.

4.  The Great American Scrapbook Convention in June at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, VA.

5.  My Supervisor got demoted back to an Accountant and put into Customer Service. He was the worst supervisor in my federal government career.

6.  I got to meet and take pic with Attorney General Eric Holder; the 1st black AG.

7.  Barack Obama became President; the 1st black President.

8.  I got a used 2007 SUV 12/6/2009: a fully loaded *red* Nissan Pathfinder. Equipped with DVD system so Christian can watch movies, leather, CD player and a navigation system. No more getting lost! No more using mapquest.com!

9.  One of Christian's permanent teeth were growing in behind his baby tooth. He had to get it pulled. That was the worst screaming I ever heard. He made the other kids at the Dentist office scared. He had everybody trying to calm him down. I was almost in tears cause of his pain and screaming.

10.  I finally went digital! I finally got a digital camera. I love it! I don't know what took me so long.
